On 1st October 2025, the Lamka – City of Hope Health Task Force conducted its scheduled monthly medical outreach to rehabilitation centers in the district. The team visited the Back to Life Rehabilitation Center at Songpi, where routine medical examinations, consultations, and health assessments were carried out for the residents.
A number of medical conditions were identified and treated during the visit, including cases of bronchitis, various skin diseases, acid peptic disorders, hepatitis, and other presenting ailments. Appropriate counselling, prescriptions, and care instructions were provided to each patient based on their diagnosis. Available medicines were also dispensed free of cost.
In addition, the team delivered a short health education session focusing on self-care, prevention, and the importance of timely treatment, along with an awareness talk on communicable diseases.
This ongoing monthly initiative ensures continued access to essential healthcare for individuals in care and rehabilitation facilities across Lamka, demonstrating our sustained commitment to community well-being and compassionate service.
