On 20 May 2025, the Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi (ZSP) Headquarters organized a Career Guidance Seminar at Zougal Hall, which was attended by over 150 enthusiastic students from various schools and colleges. The event served as an invaluable platform to enlighten, equip, and motivate young minds to pursue purposeful careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
Distinguished speakers from diverse fields, including Dr. Chinkholal Thangsing, Founder and President of Lamka: City of Hope, Major Akash of the Assam Rifles, Mr. Ginzamang, Associate Professor of Sociology, and Mr. Hauminthang, Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO), shared their experiences and insights, emphasizing the values of discipline, integrity, perseverance, and service as keys to personal and professional success. Their inspiring talks were followed by interactive sessions during which students eagerly engaged with the speakers, seeking guidance on career planning, competitive examinations, leadership development, and skill enhancement. The discussions encouraged participants to think critically about their aspirations, understand the practical pathways toward success, and cultivate a sense of responsibility toward community and nation-building.
Lamka: City of Hope participated in and endorsed this laudable initiative, recognizing its alignment with the organization’s mission to empower youth through education, leadership, and opportunity. The City of Hope leadership commended the ZSP Headquarters for its vision and commitment to youth development and reaffirmed its continued support for such collaborative platforms that inspire young people to dream boldly, work diligently, and lead compassionately.
The seminar concluded with a renewed sense of purpose, direction, and hope, leaving participants motivated to become agents of positive change.
