Fellowship Program for Brilliant Students Without Access to Fees

“The true measure of progress lies in how well we empower the next generation—when young people are given the chance to learn, lead, and uplift others, hope becomes real and a community rises.”

The Lamka City of Hope Fellowship is a flagship initiative created to uplift promising young students who demonstrate academic excellence, strong moral character, and a sincere commitment to community service, yet are held back by financial constraints. Guided by the belief that “no young mind should be denied opportunity for lack of resources,” the Fellowship ensures that deserving students can access transformative development pathways.

This one-year grant supports exceptional students from any faculty who would otherwise be unable to participate in leadership, training, or capacity-building programmes. Fellows may receive direct financial assistance or be provided full access to leadership trainings, personal development workshops, and skills-enhancement sessions offered through Lamka: City of Hope. By covering essential Programme-related expenses, the Fellowship removes structural barriers that often limit talented youth, enabling them to participate in mentorship, civic engagement efforts, and growth-oriented activities that strengthen confidence, vision, and character.

More than financial support, this Fellowship represents a long-term investment in the potential of Lamka’s young people. By empowering bright and committed students to learn, lead, and serve, Lamka City of Hope nurtures a generation equipped to contribute meaningfully to the progress, resilience, and future of the community.
